Gerald Torry Bourn, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the age 89. Beloved husband of Edna May (Robinson) Bourn for 67 years. Father of Brian (Elaine [Nortcliff ] ) of Doncaster, England and Stuart (Deborah [Vesala]) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Grandfather of Philip and Great-Grandfather of Ellie and Lucie of Rotherham, England. Gerald was born in Sheffield, England on December 10, 1919 and emigrated to Canada at the age of 70 in 1989. Attended Caterknowle Council School in Sheffield, England. Gerald served with the British Army in Britain and Europe and landed on Normandy Beach during the D-Day Invasion of June 1944. Last surviving founding member and Past Chairman of the British Fellowship of the Services (218 Mess) and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Ardent fan and supporter of the Sheffield United Football (Soccer) Club. A heartfelt thank you is extended to all those who assisted and supported Gerald and his family throughout his long illness. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Sault Ste. Marie on Monday, June 22, 2009 at the age of 57. He leaves behind his heartbroken mother, Joyce Spada of Timmins and his beloved sister Dr. Nina Spada of
Toronto. He will be missed by his many, many uncles, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Peter Spada in 2003. Dan successfully operated a Real
Estate Appraisal business in Timmins for more than 2 decades. He relocated to Sault Ste. Marie where he made many friends and loved the city. Dan's enduring smile and
upbeat nature will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 11 am. We were truly blessed to call her mother and grandmother. Mom went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, in her 92nd year in the peaceful surroundings of the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH). She will be joining her late husband, Raymond. Survived by her heartbroken daughter, Bonnie, sons Doug (Susan) and Robert. Grandmother of Jake, Spencer, Steven (Kim) and Andrew. Great grandmother of Katie Allison. Beloved sister of Dorothy Colbeck (late Ted) and Lenora Maxine Hollingshead (Bill). Her infectious laugh and endearing smile will be fondly remembered by her many friends and family. with unbelievable sorrow that we announce the loss of the most wonderful husband, father and papa. Survived by his wife of 45 years, best friend, and love of his life, Mary. His heartbroken daughter, Leisa (Ian), Penny (Brent) and Brenda (Gary). Loving Papa to Tracie, Robert, Ryan, Karli and Melanie. Beloved brother to Betty (Reg), Ailie (Charles), John (Kay), Ole (Doreen), Terry (Judy) and Brenda. Cherished brother-in-law to Katherine (Bill), Patricia (late Bill), Theresa (Frank), Colleen (Jack), Barbara (Gaston) and Sharon (Bob). Predeceased by his parents Ragnar and Beatrice and sister Ivy. Uncle Bob was the favourite of many nieces and nephews. Semi-retired after more that 31 years of working as a Stationary Engineer, and on the maintenance crew at Sault Area Hospitals, he will be dearly missed by his friends and co-workers. Even on his days off, he loved to go and have "coffee with the boys". Wednesday night darts at the Esquire Club will not be the same without him. Brothers John and Ole and brother-in-law Bob, will miss their time spent together on St. Joe's Island, his second home. He was so many things to so many people, our loss is unquestionable. His kind and gentle spirit could be felt by all who knew him. God knows something that we don't, and has a special purpose for him in heaven. (1943-2009) It is with great sadness that the Denisch family announces the sudden loss of their partner, father, brother and grandfather. After a courageous battle with cancer, Robert left peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday June 9, 2009 in Victoria BC. Robert will be forever missed, but never forgotten by his loving partner and best friend April. Robert was very proud of his sons Scott (Melissa), Michael, Jason and Andrew. Grandpa
to Kelsey and Kyle. He leaves behind his sisters Florence, Pat and Jean. Pre-deceased by his parents Robert and Sophia. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of Debb, Dieter and the Shepherd family. Robert
was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He will be most remembered from his career owning and operating Lake Superior Alarms in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. During his retirement Robert enjoyed his life in Victoria,
spending time with his favorite doggies, Soozie and Jet, and tinkering at his hobbies of astronomy, movie making and working on his satellites. At Robert’s request, a private service was held in Victoria BC. Memorial
