Amanda and Steve are very proud to announce the arrival of their sweet baby boy Alexander George Hudson Schmidt. Alex was born way up north in Iqaluit, Nunavut, when he finally graced us with his presence on July 27, 2012 at 9:10 pm; he weighed 7lbs 14oz and measure in at 21.26 inches long. Alex is the first grandchild for Bruce Currie and Caron Humphries, George and Rosemary Schmidt and Fred and Beverley Levesque and the Great Grandchild of Nellie (Baba) Humphries and Isle (Oma) Schmidt. Proud Aunties include Brittany Currie and Jen Levesque and Cousin Courtney couldn't be happier. Special thanks to Dr. Demaio and the wonderful nurses at Qikiqtani General Hospital for the great care and friends and family for all their love and support during this time.
