Starting Thursday, the Ice Breaker Cup female hockey tournament begins in Sault Ste. Marie.Action begins with local houseleague teams playing Thursday evening. Beginning Friday afternoon, out of town teams begin play.
This year 46 teams are participating, with 30 out of town teams competing. There will be houseleague and rep teams playing in several divisions.
Games can be seen at the John Rhodes Community Centre along with the Rankin and McMeekin Arenas.
Finals in the rep divisions will be played Sunday at the Rhodes.
